Onco-D-Clare is a cancer screening test based on the interaction of molecular biology with machine learning algorithms. This screening test can help detect cancer before symptoms appear.

No Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) are required to detect cancer which means Onco-D-Clare can identify cancers before other traditional tests such as Liquid Biopsies or Blood Cancer Protein Markers (AFP, CA15-3, CA19-9, CA-27, CA-125 & CEA).

Onco-D-Clare is a White Blood Cell (WBC) gene expression analysis of more than 90 genes. The WBC expression profile is then used for the classification of the sample as cancerous or healthy as well as the likely cancer tissue origin.
Onco-D-Clare has been validated for ALL types of cancer except CNS (brain) cancers.

Onco-D-Clare is more sensitive at detecting cancer than OncoTrace so can be used for post treatment cancer detection if CTCs fall below 1.2 cell/mL.

OncoTrace is used as a baseline and follow-up tool to determine a starting point of care and for monitoring effectiveness of treatment protocols.

Useful as a non-invasive long-term monitoring test following successful treatment for early recurrence detection.

Detects presence of ALL cancer types, solid and hematologic, except those of CNS (brain) origin.

Detects the presence and number of CTCs in the blood (circulating tumor cells).

Detects phenotype markers to determine tissue origin.

What is SOT & how does it work?
A blood sample is used to identify Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) or Circulating Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs). Specific gene sequences in those cells are then isolated as potential targets for therapy. An oligonucleotide (a short single strand of mRNA) is then made to directly target and inhibit a unique gene sequence in the cancer cell.

The selected SOT undergoes laboratory validation of the target genes to ensure the highest specificity to the cancer cell and to ensure that the SOT does not interfere with any other targets such as genes in healthy cells.

In other words, the SOT molecule has a potent ability to block a patient’s specific cancer mRNA with a very high rate of specificity, inhibiting cancer cells with those gene sequences.

In effect, SOT induces rapid cell death in CTCs, CSCs, primary tumor cells, and metastatic tumors. Due to its small molecular size, SOT is also able to cross the blood-brain barrier.

What is the GOAL of SOT?
To inhibit the expression of proteins which are essential for the cancer cell metabolism and/or survival leading to cancer cell death. Approximately 78% of cases have a positive clinical outcome: Complete response, Partial response, or Stable disease.

How is SOT Administered?
The SOT is delivered directly from the lab to the clinic where the patient receives one dose administered intravenously. Once the SOT has been administered, the SOT works for up to six months inhibiting the appropriate gene.

At what cancer stage should a patient consider the SOT?
Any stage is appropriate. However, patients with a large tumor burden (single or multiple tumors totaling over 5 cm) are at risk for severe side effects due to large volume cancer cell death, and as such are not candidates for SOT.

What kind of cancers can be treated with the SOT?
Solid tumors & hematologic malignancies. Primary CNS (Brain) tumors are NOT able to be treated due to difficulty in isolating CTCs and CSCs as they do not cross the blood-brain barrier.

Are there any contraindications or disqualifications for the SOT?

• Pregnancy or breast feeding
• Recent blood transfusion (must wait one year)
• Recent chemotherapy or radiotherapy (must wait 21 Days after treatment has concluded)
• Radioactive Seed Therapy – permanent contraindication
• Delta T. Cell Therapy (GDTC) – permanent contraindication
